Jan. 5th, 2010 12:51 pmI've seen a few people on my flist doing this art/fanart 6 year progression meme thing. I do love seeing how people develop with their work, how they atarted out.
I did pretty much say "no way!" to doing it cause my work from years back suuuuucks (not that i have any over at my sisters/saved on my laptop for the first two years of the meme) but im being a hypocrite if im getting all flaily over such a meme and folk's work and not participating i guess.
The image under the cut is pretty damn big so sorry about that but you have been warned! Mine is a mix of "regular" art and fan art cause i didn't get into that for awhile. Unless you count my years doodling disney characters from age 5 up. I don't have those sketchbooks anymore though.

(to avoid confusion, there is nothing for 2003 and 2004. Laura, stop refreshing the page!)
It is fun to look back at work and im happy with where i think im going to go in my head now...but it gives me a bit of woe too. I've dicked about in different styles and whatnot, none of it seems to have a thread that runs through that you could pin down as it being mine :( I know it takes years to reach "your style" and that was something my illustration tutor would tell us often when we were getting ragey about it but idk. I just like to try as many different things as i can. With a lot of stuff i don't think about it, i just draw and however its meant to come out thats how it will come out.
